Build confidence, gain strength, feel empowered, and become more flexible through personal training, dance, bodywork, and more.

PERSONAL Training

Work on your stretching, fitness and joint mobility after injuries with one-on-one personal training sessions. All exercises are selected individually for each person. Through a set of in-home training sessions, we will work together to help you reach your fitness goals.

One-on-one and group training sessions available.

Bodywork

Bodywork can be for recovery, it can help with flexibility and motion, and it can also help relax and calm your muscles. My practice is mobile, so I come to you.

Serving the PNW in Camas, East Vancouver, Washougal, and North Portland.

Dance

I specialize in teaching Latin and Plasticity Street (heels) dance. Whether you want to learn to dance for fitness, or if you’re looking to bring together a group of friends for a fun group activity, I am here to help you learn how to dance!

Hi I’m Julia!

My passion is to change and improve peoples lives through thier health and fitness.  It is in my blood.  Since childhood, as soon as I started doing gymnastics and dancing, I always wanted to teach someone.  My parents are teachers, so the choice was obvious even in the seventh grade that I was meant to help people through coaching and training. I knew I wanted to inspire, change, and improve other people’s lives.

I received a bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Physical Culture.  One of the skills I learned and exceeded in was massage. Surprisingly for everyone, this petite woman has strong and grasping hands. I immediately felt at home learning and practicing massage and quickly knew it was something I was meant to offer.

I have also gained a master’s degree in physical rehabilitation therapy which is a complimentary, and often overlapping field of expertise with massage and physical training.

In parallel with my formal education, I have been teaching Latin dance since the age of 16. I’ve always loved teaching my passion for dance and movement to women of different ages and fitness levels. In doing so, I have come to realize that we are all so different. Between our unique genetics, our lifestyle and activity choices and our different personalities, we all have completely different needs for health and fitness. Because of that, I love offering a variety of teaching and training styles that can fit anyone’s goals.

At the moment I have 18 years of coaching experience behind me. I know exactly what a body feels and what a body needs. I know how to change it, how to improve it, how to correct and relax it. I am a woman too, this is so very important!  I understand other women on a deeper level. I understand the culture and the struggles we all go through with acceptance, body image, food issues, diet fads, fitness trends and more. I have been through it too, and just like you, I continue to experience all on a daily basis, but through my work, I have come to know what works and what doesn’t. I want to pass this on to you. Together we will find a steady path for you to reach your goals, and get you to a happier, healthier you!

Reviews

“Julia gave me the most incredible Bodywork. She is intuitive, she truly understands the body, and she got me incredible results on releasing some tension I had been carrying around. I could not recommend her more highly.”
